The Repsol Edition is what?
Repsol Edition is a means for Honda to replicate the look of its coveted MotoGP vehicle on some of its smaller vehicles. because it shares exactly the same mechanical components as the standard CBR150R on which it is based. The Repsol Edition features the recognizable orange splash used on MotoGP vehicles. Nearly everywhere can be seen this recognizable orange, including the sleek fairing, fuel tank, subframe, and 17 alloy wheels. It also receives a touch of white and red on the side fairing.
Additionally, the front and side fairings of the motorcycle proudly display the Repsol livery. We believe the front Repsol livery is a bit overdone. But hey, Honda provides that. The fact that this Repsol Edition will only be available in a limited quantity, however, really makes the deal. 800 to be exact.
When did Honda start producing Repsol?
The three Respol Honda CBR1000RR motorcycles have not undergone any changes, and their original Bridgestone Battlax BT014 date-coded tires are still mounted.

Three Repsol-edition CBR1000RR sport bikes from Honda’s US division’s private collection have been donated and will be auctioned off by Iconic Motorbikes. The amount raised from it will be revealed during the PBTF’s Ride for Kids event on September 12 and will be utilized to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF).
The September 3 auction will continue until September 10 according to the schedule. The three motorcycles up for auction feature Repsol Honda CBR1000RRs from the 2005, 2007, and 2009 model years. All of these have never been driven and will be sold individually at auction. These bikes were initially made available as a homage to the factory Honda MotoGP squad and feature unique Repsol graphics.

This is because the RC213V-S is still so closely related to the multimillion dollar factory bikes that Marc Marquez and Pol Espargaro ride in MotoGP.
The governing FIM authority has restricted the amount of testing that can be done on genuine MotoGP bikes due to how expensive the sport is, therefore Marquez was handed a race-equipped RC213V-S for a few days at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
