The purchase of Essex-based Fairfield Motor Group, a retailer of BMW and Mini franchised vehicles, by Group 1 Automotive has been finalized.
After making the “tough decision to hang up my boots” after 34 years as owner, Fairfield owner Mike Styles announced the sale on LinkedIn.
On the A127 Southend Arterial Road, the Leigh-on-Sea company operates a BMW dealership and a neighboring Mini business.
Styles expressed his confidence in Group 1, stating that as a Fortune 500 business with a strong track record, they would “take wonderful care of my team and Fairfield will go on to have a prosperous future.”

BMW of Ridgefield’s owner?
