With the intention of designing, developing, and marketing timepieces and smartwatches bearing the BMW brand, Fossil Group Inc. has entered into a global licensing deal with the automaker BMW.
According to Kosta Kartsotis, chairman and chief executive officer of the Fossil Group, “BMW is one of the most iconic brands in the world.” We are excited to offer BMW enthusiasts throughout the world our watch design knowledge and smartwatch capabilities.
The first collection is scheduled to debut in 2019, and the licensing agreement will last through 2023. Key retailers in the Fossil network as well as BMW’s more than 4,000 retail outlets will sell the branded watches and smartwatches.
Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Diesel, Emporio Armani, and Kate Spade New York are just a few of the well-known brands that Fossil has licenses to produce accessories for.
