7 Series BMW
Full-size luxury sedans have been produced and sold as the BMW 7 Series since 1977 by the German automaker BMW. It is currently in its seventh iteration and is the replacement for the BMW E3 “New Six” sedan.
The 7 Series is BMW’s flagship vehicle and is only offered as a sedan (including long wheelbase and limousine models). It usually debuts exterior design themes and new technologies before other cars in the BMW series.
Following generations of the 7 Series have been propelled by inline-4, straight-6, V8 and V12 engines with both natural aspiration and turbocharging. The initial generation of the 7 Series was propelled by straight-6 petrol engines. Diesel engines have been an option for the 7 Series since 1995.
BMW offers a non-pureblood M version called the BMW M760 6.6L V12 that is offered in contrast to the 3 Series and 5 Series sedans (at the time the most powerful BMW ever made, not to be confused with BMW 760 6.6 V12 which does not offer the same performance). Production of the revised 2023 BMW 7-Series and its electric i7 brother has begun, so BMW prepared a film showcasing the manufacturing process for these top-of-the-line luxury sedans.
The roughly 10-minute video is broken up into three sections and features the assembly line for the 7-Series/i7 body shop at the BMW factory in Dingolfing, Germany, as well as finished vehicles pulling themselves off the line.

This time around, BMW isn’t providing a V-12 option, leaving the all-electric i7 to complete the lineup. It sports a dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain with 536 horsepower and 549 lb-ft of torque in its i7 xDrive60 launch configuration. According to BMW, a 101.7 kwh battery pack will provide a range of up to 300 miles.
This fall is the anticipated release date for the 2023 BMW 7-Series and i7 in the United States. The starting price for the standard mild hybrid 740i is $94,295 (destination included), while the i7 xDrive60 starts at $120,295. At a later time, a plug-in hybrid 7-Series and an i7 with greater performance are expected.
Does India produce the BMW 7 Series?

Which BMW model is produced in Germany?

Along with the X1 that has been planned, the upcoming X3 will join the other “X” models here (which may be built in Germany, sources are unclear).
- Austria’s Graz (Magna Steyr) – Magna Steyr is in charge of producing the X3 for BMW here.
What factory makes BMW engines?
Franklin — As part of a bigger transition to low-emission vehicles, BMW said it will retool its German facilities to make electric cars and components and move combustion engine production to operations in England and Austria.
By the end of 2022, all of BMW’s German plants will produce at least one fully electric vehicle, according to board member Milan Nedeljkovic, who is in charge of production at the company.
With a 400 million euro investment till 2026, BMW’s facility in Munich, Germany, which presently constructs 4-, 6-, 8-, and 12-cylinder combustion engines, will be retooled to produce next-generation electric vehicles.
Eight and twelve cylinder engines will be produced in Hams Hall, England, according to BMW, while other engines will be produced in Steyr, Austria.

By the end of the year, BMW plans to reduce costs by 500 million euros, the business added.
