A reservation is what?
When the BMW i4 goes on sale in the UK, your BMW i4 reservation gives you first dibs on placing an order. You are not required to order a BMW i4, and if you decide not to, your Deposit will be returned to you, subject to section 3.5 of these Terms.
The BMW i4 will start to be delivered in early 2022, however the precise delivery date will depend on the final specifications of your car.
On our safe online reservation form, you can use Visa or Mastercard to pay the reserve deposit for your BMW i4. You can still book the i4 even though your preferred BMW Center does not accept online payments. Your preferred BMW Center will get in touch with you personally to arrange a different method of payment.
A specific manufacturing slot is not guaranteed by your reservation because it depends on the vehicle’s final specifications and the timing of your reservation.
Email updates on the BMW i4 will be sent to you. In the summer of 2021, your favorite BMW Center will get in touch with you to let you choose the specifications of your vehicle.

Prior to the autumn sales, the new 2021 BMW i4 makes its UK debut.
At this year’s Goodwood festival of speed, BMW unveiled the new BMW i4 saloon in its final, production-spec form for the first time to the UK public as it prepares to introduce the Tesla Model 3 rival three months early.
Oliver Zipse, CEO of BMW, said that choosing to launch three months early was “simple” and that the company is “stepping up the pace” in terms of electrifying its lineup. The complete set of specs will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
In BMW’s growing electric lineup, the i4 will be sold alongside the i3 electric hatchback, new iX3 mid-sized SUV, and iX flagship. By 2023, the company will sell 12 all-electric vehicles (EVs) in 90 percent of its current market segments.
It’s a little disappointing that they can’t provide an indication. Yesterday, I followed up with my dealer about my order (placed in August), and they stated they were now waiting till November 18th for production slots after the launch.

The 1920s appear fantastic. However, I don’t want to lose the 50 miles of range by switching to the extra wide 20-inch looses; I want a comfortable actual 200-mile car.
I have an order number for mine, which was placed on June 6 in the UK. My dealer informed me that the delivery date has been delayed until at least February, if not later in 2022, even though the original quote for delivery was for the 30th of December.
Although it may have appeared that UK residents were receiving delivery estimates considerably sooner than those for everyone else, this is not going to be the case in practice.
My dealer has been promising to get back to you later today, but the entire week I’ve been waiting for him to confirm my delivery date, and nothing has ever happened. Exist any trustworthy vendors around there?
Ordered in August, told to arrive by the end of January, and then given an order number, yet the “requested date” is the end of June. Very dissatisfied with dealer as I am aware of orders with dates that are verified earlier. Strongly suspect they demoted me because I was able to negotiate a price reduction (submitted it later after their q1 quota ran out). They are well aware that they can sell for full price.

The five-door model competes against the Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2, while the i4 (our 2022 Premium Electric Car of the Year) will be instantly recognizable to anyone who has driven a current 3 Series Saloon or 4 Series Coupe, which may be enough to convince some drivers to switch to all-electric propulsion. Range anxiety shouldn’t be an issue with any of the i4 variants since they can all travel more than 300 miles on a single charge of the 80.7kWh battery.
The 536bhp M50 is BMW’s first electric vehicle to receive input from the manufacturer’s M Division motorsport department, while the rear-wheel-drive i4 eDrive40 variant makes 335bhp and is available in Sport or the desired M Sport trim. All models come equipped with air suspension, but the M50’s all-wheel-drive system and adjustable M dampers provide more daring drivers more stability at the limit.
The i4 starts at roughly PS53,000, making it more expensive to purchase than a Tesla Model 3 or Polestar 2, while the M50 model costs an additional PS10,000 to test drive. The rear-wheel-drive 430i Gran Coupe M Sport Pro Edition costs more than PS50,000 but has less power than the i4 (242 bhp), average fuel efficiency of 39 mpg, and CO2 emissions of 161 g/km. This makes it difficult to dismiss the lure of the i4. The i4 makes a strong case for switching to battery power and isn’t too bad to drive either.
Do any BMW i4s exist in the UK?
