Follow the directions above, identify the item that is past due, make sure it is in working order, then reset it.

The tiny triangle next to the odometer denotes the storage of a “Check Control Message.” You may have noticed a brief indication while driving; it may have been something like low washer fluid or fuel. Flick the tiny lever on the left-hand stalk’s front until CHECK is displayed to discover what it was. then depress the button on the stalk’s end. If any cached warnings were present, they are now visible. If there are none, “CHECK OK” will be shown. I believe that once the ignition is turned off, all cached Check messages are lost, and you must wait for them to be detected once more.
