Our first goal continues to be your health and safety. As things start to feel more normal after the new coronavirus outbreak that has altered the world, we want to reassure you that we will continue to adhere to all safety precautions advised by the CDC.
Moving forward, you may anticipate the following safety measures at all Ultimate Driving Experience and M Track Days events:
1. There will be a wide variety of wash stations, disposable gloves, disinfection wipes, and contactless sanitizing stations at various touchpoints.
2. Interiors of vehicles will be cleaned frequently during the day and in between sessions. Additionally, we only let one visitor per vehicle. Please be patient as we attempt to establish a safe environment for all of our attendees and staff, since this precaution may cause longer wait times between sessions.
3. There will be room for everyone to follow the rules of social distance. All visitors must approach counters one at a time, and additional signage will be put up to show the appropriate distance to keep. All employees and drivers will make every effort to maintain a six-foot distance from one another in order to maintain social distance. Attendees are requested to follow suit.
4. Contactless identification and check-in will be available. During the preregistration procedure, guests will sign disclaimers and have their licenses captured; walk-up participants will be required to register using their own devices.
5. To enhance the distance between participants and decrease intimate interaction between attendees and employees, all food and beverages will be prepared and served in an open area during M Track Days.
6. To stop the potential transmission of the coronavirus, all BMW employees and visitors will always wear face masks. Additionally, all staff members must always wear gloves. Visitors can utilize the masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer provided during the event.
7. All visitors must go through a pre-screening procedure that involves temperature checks and responding to a series of COVID-19-related questions before being allowed entry to the event. If your fever is 100.4 or higher, you are unable to attend the event. If you respond positively to any of the following inquiries, you will not be permitted to attend the event:
- Have you had a COVID-19 positive test? No or yes
- Have you had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any other flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days? No or yes
- Have you recently had any close interactions with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? No or yes
- Would you consider yourself to be at high risk for developing a serious illness from COVID-19, according to the CDC’s definition? No or yes
- Do you provide care for a person who, according to the CDC, is at a high risk of developing a serious COVID-19 illness? No or yes
8. BMW employees will undergo daily pre-screenings and routine checks for COVID-19 symptoms.
