Using your hand, spin the tub to see if it spins freely or if you can hear it dragging on something. A piece of clothing may be wedged in between the inner and outer tubs. To get it out, you’ll need to dig about with a piece of wire. Examine each hose for obstructions. Reassemble the washer and run a spin-only or drain-and-spin cycle if everything is in order. Find the tech document inside the washer if the problem persists. The instructions on how to enter diagnostics and calibrate the motor speed will be included. I don’t think this is the problem. My bet is that my pump is failing or that there is a restriction preventing the washer from draining correctly.
The tech sheet’s step-by-step instructions are simple to read. Although I’ve had to recalibrate it once because of a slow spin, it’s often done after the motor or motor board is replaced. Never understood how the calibration was lost. Good fortune.
A DRIVE MOTOR TACHOMETER ERROR is the Boris Dainson F25. The device is not detecting the correct rpm. One of the most difficult mistakes is this one because it doesn’t actually narrow things down. Before changing the pricey pieces, I would perform a ton of testing. The broken component most definitely has something to do with that, in my opinion. Check the entire motor/drive setup to see if you can pinpoint the issue.
With a WFC7500 and the same issue, it took some time to get the code out of the washer, but I eventually did.
The pump was examined and found to be in good condition. A diagnostic test showed that the motor spun the washer at a high speed, but during operation cycles, the motor won’t reach that speed and shuts the machine off at 13 minutes, even though the cycle appears to have finished and it displays the word END.
