The BMW M Aerodynamics package emphasizes the vehicle’s dominating sportiness with its unique bumpers, eye-catching, aerodynamically enhanced sill skirts in the body color, updated brake air ducting, underbody paneling, and a rear diffuser insert in a contrasting color.
The lower rear bumper cover, front and back bumpers, and the rear bumpers themselves are not a part of the set. Each unique car requires a separate order for these.
Okay, the M sport kit claims to have the aerodynamic kit, but images of it mounted reveal that it only has the standard sports package.
I want to know if the genuine Aerodynamic package, which is listed under performance parts on the BMW website, can be installed on a new 128i instead of the basic sports package, which I assume is part of the M-sports package.
What is the distinction? So much ambiguity I appreciate the faux air ducts that are featured on the “genuine aerodynamic package” on the side skirts and front grill.
You will receive the identical body kit as the 135i if you choose M-Sport. If not, you won’t. There is no package deal available for the Performance front bumper and side skirts because they are different. However, ordering them as port-installed extras would likely save you money compared to having the dealer complete the work later. Additionally, I believe the dealer could add the amount to your monthly payments.
Yes, I had a bid for a complete Aero kit that cost $3675 for the parts, paint, labor, and installation. With that, you might as well trade in and purchase a new 1 series!
Since it states “Installed Price,” I’m not sure. I don’t know how reliable that site is, but I assume they don’t install unpainted body kits. However, you might wish to call United.
EDIT: Alright, that website must not be reliable because it states that Global Imports will complete the task for around $1740.
Since the parts are priced separately based on each dealer’s quote, it varies on the dealer. The 1740 is probably put without paint. Paint costs 700 more. But even so, that is a huge deal.
They apparently won’t paint the “primed” parts before installing them. I’m currently engaged in negotiations.
