While I’m still waiting for my new 330, my old 320d has started to display a Parking Light Failure notice. After I sold the car, there was no way that could have happened! Karma. So, does anyone know how much that will cost and whether I need to have BMW handle it?

I can confirm that the side light bulb needed to be changed. Two H6 6 Watt GE bulbs from Halfords (the best they had) cost PS6.49, and they took 5 minutes to install according to the manual on iDrive or a phone app. Parking light failure notice is no longer present.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the parking lights on a 2008 e90 335i pre-lci so that only the angel eyes would illuminate. Does anyone know how to perform this in the car’s stalk settings? If so, would you mind sending me a link or some guidelines?
I had the same question in my head. Only the parking and angel eyes, which appear to be related in some way, were turned off.
1. Move the stalk lever down one position until you see the lock icon and end-push button set.
2. Continue scrolling down until you see the sun with its daylight running lighting on (mine is off already so it has off).
