I’ll admit to being worried about the BMW 3 Series Facelift. With its straightforward, modest excellent looks, the current G20-gen 3er is one of the most handsome-looking, most BMW-like-looking BMWs on the market. I especially adored its headlights, which are reminiscent of the E46’s notch-style headlights. I was concerned that BMW would damage the 3 Series if it were changed, given the brand’s recent emphasis on fresh designs.

There is hardly anything to mention in the backyard. The new artificial diffuser on the LCI 3 Series is very sizable. It looks fine. But that’s pretty much all. It’s a wash, then.
However, the inside of the new 3 Series LCI features digital instruments and the same iDrive 8 infotainment system as the BMW iX and i4. In addition to being more advanced, more useful, and simpler to use, it also looks better. The new gauges include a more user-friendly layout, better-looking graphics, and greater customizability.
It’s just a better layout overall. The one drawback, which will irritate some fans, is that the new LCI version does not have physical climate controls. But now that I’ve been using iDrive 8 for a while, I don’t mind it as much. Although I still favor tactile controls, iDrive 8 has more advantages than disadvantages in my opinion.
Overall, I believe the new BMW 3 Series Facelift is more technologically advanced and better looking than the vehicle it replaces. If I owned a pre-LCI automobile, I’d think about swapping it in for the LCI car. It’s sharper, sportier, more coherent, and has some finer interior components.
