Is BMW Roadside Assistance Worth It?

1 star

Roadside assistance from BMW was a terrible experience. It took more than two hours for roadside assistance to arrive for a flat (blown out) tire. Instead of easily changing the tire, as is the case with other automobile brands, they had to tow the vehicle to the shop. They hauled the car to the wrong dealership, which was very far from my location, despite verbal and written confirmation. The car was then towed back to my house the next day. I was horrified to discover that the automobile had the same flat tire when it returned. (Even though the engine oil had been changed, the flat tire hadn’t been replaced.) I had to then call a different roadside help company to come and tow my car to the adjacent dealership once more. My automobile was still not fixed after four days. I waited on hold for 30 minutes when I contacted the roadside assistance number to speak with the supervisor in order to obtain some clarification. After that, I was told that the supervisor was busy and would call me back shortly. Even now, two months later, my supervisor has not called me back. After 5 days, I eventually received my car back with the tire replaced, but the concept of being without a car for 5 days due to a flat tire and poor communication was not what I had anticipated from a luxury brand like ****. I’ve already started looking for a new car for the near future, and since *** hasn’t gotten in touch with me to fix the problem, I’m publishing this review on trustworthy auto review websites.

Exceptionally poor service!

Calls are often forwarded to postal boxes, where it takes a very long time to reach anyone. Staff members struggle to make judgments and frequently keep you waiting. My automobile is being fixed by a BMW dealer, thus I have to go two weeks without a car. I’ve been without a car for weeks since BMW won’t extend the lease on the car. Although I had RACQ full coverage, I went with BMW in the belief that they would perform more effectively. Absolutely shameful.
