I inflated the tire once before realizing I had a leak and that it was once again very low. I don’t have a spare. Due to the fact that I was in a rural area, I had little options. I inflated the tire to the recommended pressure after using the kit to get to 20 lbs and switching to “Repair.” I started the car right away and drove it for around 5 km to allow the sealant flow around. Since I now have runflat tires on my e90 lci but will soon need new ones, I intend to get the M Mobility package. The M Mobility kit and the bmw tire Mobility kit are the 2 kits that are offered. The M kit is included with the M automobiles, and you can buy the other ones off the shelf. Now, is there a method for me to fill my tires with air using just the compressor rather than pouring tire sealant into them first? I wanted to get this specifically for the air compressor, but I’m not sure if I can just use the compressor to fill the tires with air. Anyone in the room that owns the kit and has used it?
You could use a compressor, but then the problem of what to do if your tire flattens would arise. The compressor will probably just go flat again if you use it without a plug or glue.
In the instructions for the M Mobility Kit, which I found online, it is stated that you must first attach the sealant (goo) to the compressor before connecting the tubing from the sealant to the tire. Is it possible to connect the compressor directly to the tire?
