Behind all the plastic trim, this is under the steering wheel of the car:
You need to take out two screws (possibly 3) Check along the trim because mine may have had 1 missing:
The trim panel should pull down once it has been undone, as shown:
Your car’s EWS, or immobilizer unit, should be visible if you poke your head inside that space:
What we need to remove off the car is this; it is secured by two plastic 10mm nuts on a smart but difficult-to-reach bracket. The item should simply hang down once both bolts have been removed.
There is a black plug on one side of the device; to remove it, push down on the tab. So that you can understand how that works, here is the plug:
