How can I stop the back wipers?
It appears that the only way to stop them when I accidently activate them is to stop and restart the car, which is not the best option.
When you engage them while they’re moving, they keep moving. They do not quit when you engage it once again after they have stopped. Once they are engaged, pressing the stalk in any direction does not disengage them.
By the way, it continued to wipe repeatedly after I tapped it forward. In every circumstance, I tapped it forward, and it continued wiping for a number of cycles.

Okay, the control didn’t operate the way I expected it to. It does have two unique positions, much like how you can choose between high and low beams. Now everything becomes sense.
