E90: A reset issue with the service light
I recently got a service light telling me to replace the brake pads in my back. Set everything up and had them changed. I’m currently attempting to reset the service light. I read a lot about how to reset the light online, but when I tried it, it didn’t work. The enormous triangle shows once I turn on the ignition and hold down the odometer reset button for a short period of time, but it doesn’t take me anywhere after that. Even though I tried holding it for a longer period of time, nothing changed. The triangle simply appears before going away. I searched the area to check if anyone else was experiencing this issue, but I couldn’t discover anything.

Even the overshoot with the German writing was reached by me. It seems as though my automobile doesn’t even have such settings. – –
Procedure
Turn on the ignition in step two, but do not start the car. (All of the dash lights should momentarily illuminate.)
Step 3: Press and hold the cluster’s tiny reset button for five seconds to bring up the service information.
Step 4: Using the up and down wheel on the indicator stalk, scroll until the oil life is visible in the gauge cluster.
Step 5: Hold down the BC button on the stalk while waiting for RESET to show up in the cluster.
Step 6: Hold down the BC button while waiting for the gauge cluster to confirm the reset.
Other service interval resets, such as those for brake fluid, brake pads, and chassis service reminders, can be handled using the same process.
