Hello, men. I recently purchased a high-end Bronze Metallic 335i E90, and last night I discovered that the driver’s side headlight is significantly higher and misaligned than the passenger side. Both still calibrate themselves at startup, but the driver side is always calibrated far higher. The lights were placed around four feet from the garage door when this photo was taken. The driver’s side is lighting up the roadside trees out in the open.
I searched for an adjustment knob but was unable. Should I visit the dealer to resolve this?
This thread needs to be bumped because after a short while of driving, the headlights simply return to their down position when I adjust them using the adjusting bolts. Is the computer’s calibration something that needs to be updated?

resurrecting this from the grave. My front control arm’s headlight sensor was destroyed when I was installing my lowering springs. Ah well, However, after driving my roommate’s brand-new Focus ST, I discovered that his projector light cutoffs are crisp and precise at all distances. When parked in front of, let’s instance, a garage door, mine are neat and level, but they don’t do well on the streets. notably the incredibly dark curves and elevation changes here in the highlands. The ‘hole’ in the illumination appears to be right in the middle of my lane, which is the most worst location! That is not a typical light cutoff for well aimed headlights, am I right? I’m not interested in paying the vendor $125 to look at them.
