uncomplicated to fit. Just be sure to lay down a sheet since ice can fall from the ceiling and the mirror covers can break off with a bang!
Just now, I was considering these aftermarket sequential indicators for wing mirrors. Has anyone else installed these? I’m primarily interested in them for their smoked appearance to match the rest of the car, but I’m concerned they could be too dim.
Thank you for providing the pictures, gentlemen. I’m inclined to choose the smoked mirrors even though I also have gloss black ones. The main drawback, if that’s what bmwspeed01 meant, seems to be that you can no longer see the indicator when looking out the driver’s window, for example, when changing lanes, but I suppose it’s not a big deal since you should know when you are signaling anyhow!
winther1haagm58 Are the sequential indicators still as bright as the OE, or perhaps brighter?
The smoked indicators, in my experience, are still sufficiently bright to be seen easily from across an intersection or from cars moving in front of my vehicle.
Yes, bmwspeed01 is accurate that neither the driver nor the passenger can see the smoking indicators.

What are mirrors with integrated turn signals?
Turn signals are also common on side mirrors of automobiles. Because a motorist in your blind area might not be able to see the back of your vehicle, this is a better location for the turn signals.
High-intensity light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used in these mirrors, which are typically aligned to form an arrow that can point either left or right. The LEDs are set up behind the mirror glass so that when the driver is within the vehicle, just a faintly illuminated arrow is visible, other drivers outside the vehicle see a very bright arrow.

This is especially helpful when someone is exiting the vehicle because the open door would otherwise prohibit illumination of this area by obstructing the light coming from behind the mirror.
Puddle lights now serve a second role in addition to its original one, which was to warn people about puddles, ice, or rough pavement where they would walk just before getting into (or out of) the car.
Puddle lights had been there for at least a dozen years when some manufacturers decided to add the vehicle’s name, badge, or another graphic on the lenses for 2015. For instance, Land Rover carried out this. Also, to name a few, Buick, Lincoln, and Mini. This gave it a classy, upscale touch and immediately turned into a status symbol—mainly because it does, in fact, look very great. Puddle lights are a common feature in modern vehicles, and they can even be purchased as aftermarket additions.
