I pulled the tug-of-war. I took a photo of the entire gathering where it was taking place. BMW provided a free replacement and repair. You should ask them to finish it quickly.
Really??? Wow! I believe that none of the dash assembly should be removed. You are merely removing a plasticky paper sticker, after all. It must have been improperly built or screwed in. Was the sticker you used made of stainless steel?
I’m not familiar with 335i, however with 328i the paper has tiny holes all the way inside, so you have to pull and tear at the same time.

Simply pull it out; nothing will be harmed because it is only an automobile, albeit a well-made one.
In fact, take cautious not to pull on aluminum trim too firmly. The person who showed me my car during my ED was a recent hire who was quite eager about his work. He pulled the tag upward after grabbing it, slightly denting the AL trim in the process. When I brought the car into service here in the US, I had to notify this, and BMW replaced the trim for me under warranty.
For your safety, DO NOT remove the tag. All of the BMW vehicles involved in collisions, as far as I can tell, had their tags removed beforehand. Your airbag might also not work properly.
