Over the past few years, the n52b25 engine in my BMW 325i E90 has burned oil at a rate ranging from 1L per 1000km to 1L per 300km. I made every effort to fix it (new CCV, seafoam piston soak, liqui moly oil stop, engine flushes etc) Nothing functioned, so I blindly purchased a burnt-out donor engine off of eBay, took my time repairing it, and then replaced it with the engine in my car.
