The person who took this photo and posted it on another site reports that the G26 4GC’s sunroof only opens as far as is visible in the photo.
The i4 that I saw during a preview session came to a complete halt at the exact same spot, but the software was definitely still being configured.
My sales contact demonstrated it in a 4 Coupe and was certain that it would open all the way when I talked to him about it. It came to a “early” stop in the same restricted position after another 12 cm. He shared this belief and remained steadfast in his belief that everything will turn out just great. I once test drove a 4 coupe, and I don’t recall any difficulties with the sunroof in that specific vehicle.
But I want to be certain. If the roof cannot be opened further, that might be a deal-breaker (for the sunroof, not the i4).
