How To Install BMW Tis On Windows 7?

Download Windows Virtual PC with Windows XP Mode. Before downloading these files, you must validate the version of Windows 7 you’re running.

Once both files have been downloaded, execute the “Windows6.1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg” file and reboot as necessary.

Run the “WindowsXPMode en-us” file you downloaded once Windows has restarted the PC.

Once installation is complete, launch Windows Virtual PC from your start menu. Select the “XP Mode” option by clicking the all programs button and looking for it near the bottom.

Follow the setup instructions for Windows XP. When it’s finished, you should see something similar to this:

Once you have this, pick settings from the drop-down menu under the tools menu at the top of the window.

There are two sections in the settings pane. A list of devices is shown on the left, and the settings for each selected device are shown on the right.

You can select to have it use a physical drive and then simply insert your CD or DVD into the designated CD-ROM drive.

2 You can build an image of your disk, store it on your hard drive, and then pick it, like I have done in the image below:

then simply adhere to the TIS installation instructions. Especially if you are setting it up the way I have, I advise running it from the CD rather than installing it on your hard drive because it will already be there and operating at hard disk speeds.

an electronic workstation. It’s essentially a software overlay that sits on top of one of the computer’s processors, allowing you to run a SEPARATE copy of Windows 7 alongside Windows 7 (provided your machine has a modern chip with multiple cores).

TIS runs on Vista, although it isn’t reliable. It only works good enough for me to search up some information before eventually crashing. most likely switch to XP in virtual form.

A group of useless figures scroll endlessly on a poorly lit 19-monitor computer while you sit in a worn-out office chair in a basement floor while drinking stale coffee.

I believe that would slow down the machine, but it might work. a waste of time if only for TIS. I’ll just use an old, damaged laptop as a “garage computer,” I suppose.

When you switch on the virtual computer, you run it once, and when you’re finished using TIS, you shut off the virtual machine. A spare, outdated laptop would also be simple.

Try this to see if it helps: Run this software in compatibility mode for: should be checked when you right-click on the TIS icon and select the Compatibility tab. and then from the drop-down box, choose “Windows XP SP3.”

TIS Icon, what? Even the Disc won’t run or install for me. After setting up the installation, it begins to operate and then prompts me to choose a language. Then…nothing. simply spins. I don’t see any icons.
