The oil filter cap should also be snugly tightened. Again, excessive tightening is not required.
Finally, pour 6.5 quarts of fresh oil through the oil filler lid using your funnel. Drive the car off the ramps when you close the cap and start it. Press the stalk’s end to display the oil level after selecting the “oil” option in the instrument cluster using your turn signal stalk controls. To fill it up, you might need to add an additional 0.2–0.3 quarts of oil.
