How Many BMW M5Cs Were Made?

Not only is this car extremely expensive—it costs more than $30,000 more than the competition—but only a little over a thousand will ever be produced.

Exclusivity should ensure that values remain strong.

The car is very unique due to its 1000 unit production cap, especially considering that it will only be made for the 2022 model year. Given that 4.4-liter V8s won’t be available for very much longer, the vehicle will probably become a favorite among aficionados both now and in the future.

This vehicle was created with the purist gearhead in mind. To serve as a constant reminder of the car’s uniqueness, the CS emblem is featured throughout the interior. Unfortunately, given the electric revolution and increasingly strict pollution restrictions, we might never see a vehicle like that again in the future. As a result, residual values need to be high for quite some time.

Singapore will soon receive a limited number of the BMW M5 CS, the most potent M ever.

The most potent BMW M vehicle ever, with 635 horsepower and 70 kg less weight than the norm, will arrive in Singapore in Q3 2021 in “limited numbers.”

The extra-high-performance, limited-edition BMW M5 CS is the most potent vehicle that BMW M has ever made available for purchase.

The ‘CS’ model, which is based on the recently redesigned BMW M5, is also scheduled to arrive in Singapore this year and adds a number of weight-saving features and extra-delicious components as well as a slight increase in horsepower.

According to our calculations, the M5 CS will cost at least S$700,000 with COE. When it was purchased in February 2020 with a lower COE level, the pre-facelift M5 Competition cost S$530k with COE in this location. The M5 CS costs 180,000 Euros in Germany, which is much more than the M5 Competition’s asking price of 130,000 Euros.

A ‘small number’ are arriving, according to BMW Asia, which may be less than 20. BMW M has not disclosed the entire number of M5 CSs that will be produced, but if we compare it to the M2 CS, 2,200 were made globally, and fewer than 10 were shipped to the United States.

However, if you have to inquire, you’re probably already reacting too slowly. An M2 CS (sold out here), an M3 CS (didn’t arrive to SG), and an M4 CS have all been released thus far (also sold out here).

Brands Hatch Grey metallic, Frozen Brands Hatch Grey, and Frozen Deep Green are the two BMW Individual metallic matte colors that BMW M offers for the car’s exterior (shown here).

With exterior yellow and gold highlights, the M5 CS also adds a touch of sparkle to things. The unique 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, front fenders, kidney grille liners, M5 CS badge, and daytime running lights of the laser headlight units are all in what BMW M refers to as “Goldbronze,” while the daytime running lights of the kidney grille liners are yellow, a nod to endurance and GT racing.

Lol. My relationship with BMW dates all the way back to the 1980s.

Probably 20 new cars have been purchased via this dealership over the past 20 years, and they have always treated us well. However, I would be shocked if they were genuinely able to exert such pressure.

my aprtment. For a while, BMW USA has been down for maintenance. How do people find out about updates?

The website was down for a few hours last week, but it’s been up ever since. These pictures are all from the Garage area.

I emailed the BMW Genius to inquire about the boat the car will be on, but no boat number has been given to it as of yet. According to what I’ve observed, the car might be at the harbor for as long as 10 days as it awaits a ferry to the west coast.

Your 2022 BMW M5 CS left the factory on July 2, 2021, and it got to the port or complex on July 6, 2021. I can’t provide you any updated projected dates at this time. New anticipated dates and vessel details will be created once it ships.

Until last week According to my SA, my automobile was also assembling. On the west coast, it should arrive in early September. The frozen brands thaw.

Congratulations to everyone who started production and finished it. Any chance of a CS-only gathering? Is it possible to start a location post for M5CS owners?

The issue is not a lack of money. It is only an indication of internal issues! Harv Eker, T

Do you possess one? One other person in south Florida that I am aware of is my father. If we get three or more cars, I can arrange a professional photo shoot.

BMW M5

A high-performance version of the BMW 5 Series known as the BMW M5 is sold under the BMW M sub-brand. In the sports sedan class, it is regarded as iconic. The majority of M5s have been made in sedan (saloon) body form, however from 1992 to 1995 and from 2006 to 2010, the M5 was also offered in some countries as an estate (wagon).

With a modified M1 engine, the first M5 model was hand-built in 1985 on the E28 535i chassis and was the fastest production sedan at the time. Since 1985, M5 models have been created for each generation of the 5 Series.

Power is not an issue for the M5. A twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 with 600 horsepower and 553 ft lbs of torque powers the base model. However, the engineers of the marque were able to take the mill and add an additional 27 horses (10 more than the M5 Competition). Although some purists may scoff at the lack of a manual transmission, the vehicle’s acceleration figures ought to more than make up for this. According to CNET Roadshow, BMW claims the CS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the M5 Competition and certainly makes it the automaker’s fastest production vehicle. A top speed of 190 mph is also not bad.

But the car’s lighter weight is also to blame for the lightning-quick acceleration time. The M5 Competition weights 230 pounds more than the CS. This is mostly attributable to the addition of new carbon-fiber components, which include the hood, front splitter, back diffuser, rear splitter, mirror housings, and all four inside seats. Additionally, the amount of soundproofing material used throughout the car was reduced by engineers. With these modifications, the car was able to significantly reduce its weight without sacrificing its all-wheel-drive system. Furthermore, BMW has modified the vehicle’s springs and dampers in accordance with your concerns, so you need not worry about the lower weight altering the way the car feels.

The kidney grilles, badging, and forged 20-inch wheels are just a few of the eye-catching gold bronze details that distinguish the CS from the M5 or M5 Competition from the outside. Inside, you’ll find exclusive CS badging, illuminated M5 emblems, Alcantara suede, the most recent iDrive 7 infotainment system from the manufacturer, and a digital gauge cluster that will show even more information than the normal M5.

BMW currently only intends to sell the M5 CS as part of the 2022 model year, and solely in the markets of North America, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Russia. This exclusivity will cost money, as will a long list of performance and aesthetic improvements. When it goes on sale later this year, the sporty sedan will have a starting price of $142,995, which is $36,000 more than the ordinary M5 and about $30,000 more than the M5 Competition.

BMW’s M5 CS, its most potent production vehicle, is getting ready to go on sale.

The most potent BMW production vehicle to touch the roads is the impending M5 CS. However, even more astounding is the fact that the BMW M5 CS engine is the most potent BMW has ever made, in any vehicle. This distinction is significant since, until a few days ago, no BMW was ever propelled by the M Division’s most potent engine. The McLaren F1 was instead powered by it.

The 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 that powers every other M5 is used in the M5 CS, but it has been tweaked to produce 627 horsepower, an increase of barely ten horsepower, while maintaining the same 553 lb-ft of torque. BMW claims that its 0-60 mph time has decreased to 2.9 seconds, compared to the M5 Competition’s flat 3.1 seconds. The BMW M5 CS accelerates quickly, taking just 3.0 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and 10.4 seconds to reach 200 km/h (124 mph). The maximum speed is electronically controlled at 305 km/h (189 mph). The rest of the powertrain consists of an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and xDrive all-wheel drive, same like every other M5.

The 2022 model year will be the only one available for the BMW M5 CS. The weight savings over the M5 Competition is confirmed to be 230 lbs for the US variants. The M5 CS in European specification weighs 70 kilos less than the M5 Competition. The second half of the year is anticipated to see the arrival of American vehicles. Nothing is known about how many units will ultimately be made or how they will be distributed among markets. $142,000 MSRP plus $995 for destination.

There are just three colors offered. Brands Hatch Grey metallic is the normal color, and Frozen Brands Hatch Grey and Frozen Deep Green metallic are the two alternate colors. There is only one color scheme available for the interior: black with red accents. You are not required to pay extra if you want gold brake calipers over red ones. However, we’re happy that BMW chose Frozen Deep Green Metallic as the debut shade.

How numerous are BMW M5s?

From October 1984 to June 1988, the E28 5 Series-based first BMW M5 was produced. In February 1985, it made its debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show. It was built on the chassis of the 535i with a number of mechanical modifications, most notably the M88/3 engine, an improved version of the M1 sports car’s engine that was shared with the E24 M635CSi grand tourer coupe. The E28 M5 was the world’s quickest production sedan at the time of its introduction.

Europe, Great Britain, the United States, Canada, and South Africa were the E28 M5’s authorized markets. The M88/3 engine, which has a 210 kW power output, was utilized in the cars from Europe and South Africa (286 PS; 282 hp).

The S38B35, a detuned version of the M88/3 with a catalytic converter and a 191 kW power output that was utilized in automobiles marketed in the US and Canada (256 hp). Owners in the US filed a class action lawsuit as a result of an extended manufacturing run that exceeded BMW’s initial projection of production quantities. Owners received a voucher for US$4,000 as a consequence of this class action in 1993. The M5 was manufactured to North American specifications from November 1986 to November 1987.

All cars were assembled by hand in Germany, with the exception of 96 vehicles that were assembled as kits at BMW’s Rosslyn, South Africa, plant. Prior to the 1986 factory summer break, assembly took place at BMW Motorsport’s plant in Preussenstrasse in Munich. The M5 production was then transferred to Daimlerstrasse in Garching, where the remaining units were constructed. About a year after BMW stopped making normal E28 vehicles, manufacture of the M5 lasted until November 1988. The E28 M5 is still one of the rarest regular production BMW Motorsport vehicles, ranking behind the M1 (456 units), M5 (E34) Touring (891 units), and 850CSi (1,510 units).
