The majority of BMW options have a code that looks like S A. For instance, the option number S258A stands for run-flat tires, S6WBA for a digital instrument cluster, and S522A for the various models’ optional xenon lights. Only a few option codes, such L A, are formatted somewhat differently.
One more illustration Let’s check to see whether BimmerTech can make BMW Apps available in this car. The car must include options S602A (on-board monitor and TV) or S609A (Navigation System Professional), as well as one of the following: S633A, S639A, S644A, S6NKA, S6NLA, or S6NHA, according to the product page. The car must also have been constructed in September 2010 or after. It is clear that this vehicle is approved because a quick check of VIN K329921 discloses the manufacture date (July 5, 2014) and those features in the Options section (has S609A and S6NHA).

by VIN options list
Hello everyone! I know there is a website where I can enter my VIN and it will list all the standard and non-standard options on a car, but I can’t for the life of me find the link.
It’s a great specification. There is a lot of individual leather, which is absolutely beautiful, as well as sport cars, attractive exterior colors, etc. A good-sounding automobile.
Although we had an appointment, the salesperson I had been messaging all week was on his day off. While this doesn’t upset me too much, he should have let me know that someone else would be filling in for him.
BMW AUC salesman repeatedly insisted that he had only started 6 months ago despite having zero product knowledge!
Even though we had been communicating via email all week and he knew I was coming to see the car, it wasn’t clean when I arrived for a test drive.
I have been in the automotive sales business for 16 years, so I have never been on the other side of the desk before, but small, seemingly insignificant things may make a huge difference in how much a customer enjoys the purchase experience.
Very near to my specifications, the only things I can see missing from the list that I would like are the adaptive suspension and sun roof. My car is red, so I don’t have the specific color.
Driving on dark roads is much improved with adaptive headlights and high beam help, especially at this time of year.
Since I live in the Highlands, the adaptive headlights were a major selling point for me. Used them over the weekend and it is significantly better, opening up the side of the road when cars are approaching you, etc., very beneficial for the variety of species up here.
In my experience, a VIN decoder does not always reveal all the car’s information. Some of them are only visible after purchasing an Official Full VIN Report, which costs between 7 and 10 EUR on most websites and not only displays all of the vehicle’s equipment but also its mileage and service history, among other information. Re: How can I determine which accessories my car has?
The whole list of choices is available on the BMW UK website if you own a BMW manufactured in the UK.
Visit the website at http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/homepage/ and select Genuine BMW Parts from the BMW Owner Area menu up top.
Pick Parts Catalogue from the menu on the left side of the page. Take note of the Username and Password (‘eu111111’ for the Username and ‘bmwetk1’ for the Password), and then click on the ‘Electronic components catalogue’ link at the bottom of the page. Find genuine BMW accessories and spare parts.
After login in, a window will appear where you can enter the final seven characters of your vehicle identification number (VIN). This then opens a new window; click on Options at the top of this window to view the entire specification as it was provided.
How do I find out what options my BMW has?
The online automobile configurator from BMW offers more options than others, yet it still makes it easy to select the ideal configuration. On the BMW homepage, pick the “Models” button, then select the vehicle you want to customize by clicking “Build and price.”
When you choose that model, a list of trim levels, engines, and gearbox options appear. Simply scroll through the selections until the engine and gearbox combination you desire is displayed. It’s helpful that BMW gives the starting price and significant data for each engine and gearbox combination it offers, such as acceleration, fuel efficiency, and CO2 emissions figures.
You can select the outside paint color and alloy wheels you like by scrolling down the page, albeit these do tend to cost more than the usual specification. You can select the upholstery and trim finishes for your car below.
The last step is to choose any additional option packages. This is one way that BMW makes it simple for you to add the features you want: each package has a variety of thematic alternatives, which can help you save money over selecting each component separately. For instance, for models without these features as standard, the Comfort Pack adds a heated steering wheel, a motorized tailgate, and keyless entry.
You have now “built” your BMW after working your way down the options list. Your finished car and a list of the options you have chosen are revealed when you click “summary” at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
There is a helpful “save configuration” option at the bottom of the page that generates a customized PDF brochure for your specific model. Then, when you go to the BMW showroom, you can use that. Alternately, you can choose “purchase online”; how to accomplish this is covered below.
What options did my car come with when I ordered it?
You will have a lot of knowledge if you know where your VIN is and how to read it. The location of the vehicle’s manufacture and its available options can both be determined from the VIN. You can use the VIN to call a dealership, access a report online, or get in touch with the manufacturer to learn more.
