Especially after personalizing how your BMW’s tailgate operates, a motor embedded into the tailgate mechanism automatically raises and lowers the trunk lid, removing the hassle of packing up your BMW. The Power Trunk feature is still accessible with regular keyless entry, but it needs to be engaged by pushing the trunk release button on the remote key fob.
