When it comes to the area of automobile-bicycle crossover products, the final product might be anything from obscene and exorbitantly expensive to cringe-worthy. Even BMW has a track record of, hmm, dubious-looking bicycles, but the most recent M Bike looks… good?
Even though it’s only a workout hybrid with a unique frame design, everything about it is astonishingly tidy and well-equipped. It has a carbon fork and seat post, a simple but effective 1×11 gear, and a Shimano XT Shadow RD+ rear derailleur. The geometry looks respectable. In addition, there are hydraulic disc brakes, Ergon grips, Continental tires, and an FSA crankset, not to mention the sturdy-looking bell, kickstand, and flat/SPD pedals that come with the bike.
Without knowing the exact specifications, the price of $1,400 seems to be reasonable as well.
The M Bike, which was introduced by our buddy Tibor Simai, is available on the BMW website in sizes S, M, or L (geometry tables are not included).
Based in Ohio, Zach is now gradually exposing a younger generation to cycling while still attempting to incorporate as many rides as possible into his hectic schedule as a new father.
This kind of rather specific garbage is created to prevent BMW dealers from adding it to the monthly payment. Kind of like how Subaru has stolen the thunder from Thule bike racks. Yes, you can get a nice-looking, functional item like a 1 Up or Kuat for $600, but a low-quality Thule rack is sold at the dealership for $800+ since you can just add it to the car payment.

Who manufactures bikes for BMW?
A special edition all-road bicycle was created in partnership between BMW and the top Italian cycling company 3T. With the world’s lightest carbon aero cranks and an aerodynamic carbon frame, the “exploro” aims to appeal to the adventure-seeking audience.
According to Gaston Streiger, president of BMW’s lifestyle division, “3T was an obvious choice for us because 3T’s exploro model is the best dirt bike available combining performance, luxury, and cycling pleasure to our clients.” The new gravel bike embodies the brand’s minimalist aesthetic with its sharp shapes and clean lines.
The special brooks leather saddle and complementary brooks leather grips are only found on the exploro. On any surface, including cobblestone city streets, deserted b-roads, and mountain trails, fulcrum alloy wheels and durable schwalbe one-speed tyres guarantee a secure grip with maximum speed. Shimano’s ground-breaking GRX gravel bike group set takes the greatest quality and pays attention to even the smallest details.
“We are incredibly honored that BMW chose 3T as their sole partner in the development of the unique 3T for BMW bike,” said the company. According to Rene Wiertz, co-owner and CEO of 3T, BMW offers customers “sheer driving pleasure,” and with the 3T for BMW bike, we hope to provide the same all-road bicycling experience.
The special edition exploro 3T for BMW vehicle was created by 3T in two color options. Both are now available on 3t’s website, with a suggested retail price of EUR5,500 ($6,064).

The cost of a BMW E bike.
That speed and comfort come at a cost. After all, the CE 04 is really just a scooter that has a smart motorbike wrapped around it. And the cost cannot be concealed. The CE 04 starts at $11,795 (PS11,700 in the UK), and the highest-spec variant costs $14,795 (PS13,400).
How quickly does the BMW e-bike go?
All of the cords required for the electronics and brakes have been meticulously tucked away by BMW, creating an extraordinarily clean appearance. There is a good explanation for the enormous size of the gigantic battery pack, which occupies a significant amount of the frame.
With this large 2,000 Wh battery, you should be able to go 186 miles (300 km) between charges in the lowest power setting, claims BMW. Of course, if you decide you want a little bit more speed beneath your saddle, that enormous range will decrease.
The enormous battery is useful in terms of performance in general. With the use of a companion smartphone app, BMW claims that riders will be able to choose between the 25 km/h (15.5 mph) speed restriction that is legal on European roads, a speed-pedelec mode that can go up to 45 km/h (28 mph), and a new high-speed-pedelec mode that can go up to 60 km/h.
Of course, in order to use these exhilarating speeds, you’ll either need to be on private property, or you’ll need to register the bike and obtain a special license plate in order to use any speed other than the lowest setting on public roadways.

BMW even mentioned during its presentation in Munich that a future update might allow GPS data to automatically switch between these modes. As a result, your bike’s top speed will be limited to 15.5 mph on every electric bike sold in the UK when you’re cruising through the city center, with speeds rising as you turn onto a larger road.
It’s important to note that the I Vision AMBY is not a phony electric motorcycle. This is undoubtedly a bicycle. You’ll still need to move the pedals even at the 37 mph top speeds. You must use the pedals to increase and maintain your speed because there is no throttle on the handlebars.
To keep the road lit, BMW also added handlebars with integrated LED lightbars. Another LED has been installed in the seat post to make you more visible to other drivers. Even at the absurdly high speeds this monster bike is capable of, hydraulic disk brakes should let you maintain control of your pace.
You’ll still need to keep the pedals rotating even at the top speed of 37 mph—after all, it is still a bicycle.
There is no information on pricing, but we anticipate the I Vision AMBY to have a steep asking price when it is released.
Of course, BMW also depends on changes in the law governing electric bikes. A spokesperson for BMW clarified that the top speed of 37 mph on the highest power setting is only possible because “there is no existing legal framework for a vehicle of this kind with a modular speed concept, and the AMBY Vision Vehicles set out to prompt the introduction of such legislation and, by consequence, developments of this nature.”
