It should be noted that a two-wheel drive BMW won’t always be advertised as having sDrive. When not four-wheel drive versions, the rear-wheel-drive 5 Series and the front-wheel-drive 1 Series are simply referred to as the 5 Series and 1 Series, respectively. When four-wheel drive is requested, the names change to the 1 Series xDrive and 5 Series xDrive.
