The Audi Q8 is a gorgeous five-seater SUV. The type I drove featured a huge glass sunroof that provided excellent views of our clear blue sky, and both front and rear passengers delighted in this throughout the week we had it.
The split media screen system, similar to that in the Range Rover Velar, removes most of the buttons from the dash and controls everything from within them. The interior is contemporary with clean lines.
I did discover that the Q8’s seat base was way too long for me when I initially got in it; I couldn’t even reach the floor, let alone the pedals. It took me a while to discover it, but once I did, it was easy to adjust. Oddly, this wasn’t done using the electrical adjustments on the side of the seat base. The seat base length is actually highly adjustable and would accommodate taller drivers as well.
The media system had Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it was simple to use and navigate.
The camera image is really sharp and clear, and you can watch it from a variety of angles. You can quickly mute the sensors with a button on the screen, too.
A cordless phone charging pad, sunglasses storage, front and rear cup holders, and door bins big enough for a large refillable water bottle make up the Q8’s small but useful storage space. The map pockets in the little glove box are made of net.
For a five-seater SUV, the boot’s capacity of fifteen grocery bags when empty is excellent. That is a difference of two bags over the Jaguar F-Pace, one more than the Range Rover Velar, and one less than the BMW X5.
Numerous shopping bags and single, twin, and tandem strollers and prams fit in the Audi Q8’s boot.
The Audi Q8 only has room for three child seats in the back, but because of the plastic panels that surround them, it was a little more difficult to place three across.
plus two forward-facing, one rear-facing, and three altogether. The backs of all three seat backs have top tether anchorages and ISOFix points in the two outer seats.
To lock one of the back doors without locking the other, there are excellent independent child locks on the driver’s door as well.
The Audi Q8 is a really pleasant car to drive; it feels strong and capable on the road without being obnoxious, is easy to handle, and offers a tranquil and quiet ride. The cruise control works well and is very precise.
Although the Audi Q8 has six airbags as standard, it has not yet received an ANCAP safety rating.

How big is the boot of the Audi Q8?
For a five-seater SUV, the Audi Q8 has a fairly large boot that readily accommodates all sorts of strollers. It can accommodate fifteen shopping bags when empty, which is two more than the Jaguar F-Pace and one more than the Range Rover Velar and the BMW X5.
The boot space’s functionality and importance cannot be overstated. I prefer vehicles with large boot spaces and small side wells or other compartments that can be divided into. Therefore, items like Tulsi’s lunch bag or her wet swimming gear that I don’t want to move while driving may be compartmentalized in a small space so they won’t spill or get squished by other items in the boot.
The ability to fasten the bag containing more delicate items, such as eggs, so they don’t move about on the trip, makes hooks for hanging shopping bags one of my other favorite types of hooks.
I gauge the boot room for dogs, strollers, and frozen shopping bags. I don’t believe that a mother’s existence is limited to grocery shopping, pushing a stroller, and caring for dogs. (Even though at times it seems like it!) However, since these are things that can be measured visually, we can all relate to them. For me, the 400L boot measurement from the car manufacturer is not a quantity I can easily see, and depending on how the space is organized or shaped, 400L in one car may not be as usable as it is in another.

In an Audi A3, are three car seats possible?
