When the ignition is off, you can push and hold the button to turn on the “residual heat” feature (see Fig. 1). The residual heat in the engine coolant will subsequently be used to heat the inside. After around 30 minutes, the residual heat feature will be turned off.
The air outlets in the door pillars, the center and either side of the dashboard, and the rear center console may all be opened and closed using the thumbwheels. The air flow direction can be changed using the lever located in the middle of the outlets.
- You shouldn’t leave the air recirculation on for an extended period of time for safety reasons. If the air conditioning is turned off, the windows may mist over since this mode keeps fresh air from entering the Audi A6. A collision may occur due to poor visibility.
- When utilizing the seat heating, people with weakened senses of pain or heat risk burning themselves. There is a burn danger if these folks use the seat heating.
