Third, there will be base plates available for older TT models with FWD (non-quattro) AND maybe a 5-speed manual transmission. One for a TT of any year is not produced by any of the main base plate producers. This would be the only configuration that could possibly be flat-towed, but since there isn’t a base plate for it, I assume that there must be a reason why it can’t.
