I tried to start my 2015 Pathfinder on Christmas morning, but it required numerous presses and I had to hold the key very close to the start button in order for it to start. When it happened, the dash displayed the following message:
I’ve been driving this automobile every day for the past two days without any problems. Then, out of nowhere, this appeared. Today’s whole day has been spent on attempting to figure things out. I tried removing the storage fuse, and a meter confirmed that it was in fine condition. Since it was the original battery, I changed it. I discovered some tutorials that instructed me to reset it by holding down the two sticks (blinker and wiper). No luck. What’s going on is beyond my comprehension. I can make it start. When I tried to drive it, it had high rpm and would barely go 15 to 25 mph. The radio, heat, a/c, etc. are all broken.
Others have reported experiencing similar problem after having a dead battery or having to jump start their Pathfinder, but no one has posted a solution. I would be very grateful for any assistance.
