Is Yuki still in love with Tohru?
Yuki acknowledges his platonic affection for Tohru. Following this, Yuki feels lighter and realizes that Tohru is precious to him in his own way. He then expresses his desire for her to be happier than anybody else and to find a place where she can be wholly herself.
What led Tohru to select Kyo?
Despite being an outsider in his own family, Kyo manages to fit in fairly well with society. Kyo is good at making friends at school and can unintentionally become close to people. Yuki even says that he is envious of Kyo’s ability to find close friends so quickly. Tohru is able to spend time with Kyo in part because of this.
Who got Kagura married?
Kagura, who will be working and is packing up from the main house, and Ritsu, who has cut his hair short and started dressed in masculine apparel, are shown spending time with one another toward the end as they have begun new chapters in their lives. The two discuss Shigure’s decision to stop writing novels and his official move in with Akito at the Sohma compound now that the curse has been lifted. When the subject of marriage is brought up, Kagura inquires as to Ritsu’s plans to wed Mitsuru, the editor of Shigure. To Kagura’s dismay, Ritsu makes an attempt to put on his kimono once again while still astonished and embarrassed by the question. Despite the jokes, they discuss Kyo and Tohru and recall the times they spent together. Ritsu is informed by Kagura that she will be seeing them off, but it seems that she is only doing so for Kyo and not Tohru. Ritsu chuckles because he is aware that Kagura wants the two of them to be content. [6]
Given that Kagura has a son who attends the yearly Sohma banquets and is pals with the other Sohma kids, including Sora Sohma, it is assumed that she finally got married.

Why does Tohru not marry Yuki?
From that point on, he doesn’t annoy Kyo because his cousin got the girl Yuki himself desired. The only reason he does it is to prevent Kyo from hurting Tohru. This choice makes sense to Yuki and is fairly original to him when he ends up with Machi, a fellow student council member.
With whom does Akito end up?
In the Fruits Basket series, the main antagonist is Akito Sohma (,Sma Akito, “Akito Soma”[2]). She is Ren and Akira Sohma’s lone child.
Akito serves as the “God” of the Chinese Zodiac and is the patriarch of the Sohma family. Akito is portrayed as being mysterious, irritable, and violent, and as having left many Sohmas with emotional and physical scars. On the other hand, Akito is the victim here because Ren made her live as a man out of fear that Akito would take her place in Akira’s heart. Akira unwittingly misled Akito into believing that she was “special” and would be loved by the Zodiacs no matter what she did in an effort to comfort her.
Akito comes to the realization that by holding onto these links, she was harming herself more than the other Zodiacs and resolves to let them go in support of Tohru’s efforts to remove the curse, despite her total loathing for Tohru Honda for “breaking apart her bonds with the Zodiacs.” Shigure Sohma, whom Akito is in love with, eventually moves in with her after their animosity ends, the curse is lifted, and she starts dressing and living as a woman.
She is Shigure’s wife and the mother of Shiki Sohma in Fruits Basket 2.
Did Toru and Yuki ever become a couple?
Good friends Yuki and Tooru frequently taunt or make fun of one another. They both like to observe the commotion Hori and Miyamura create. They also appear to spend a lot of time together since Miyamura and Hori began dating. There are occassional subliminal signs that Yuki and Tooru share some sort of love feeling for one another, but none of them is aware of it. Even if Yuki tries to deny it, it is now obvious that she likes Tooru. She is currently acting as though she is dating Tooru in order to reject Yanagi’s confession.
It is established in Chapter 73 that Yuki and Tooru are not romantically involved. They like one other and are attracted to each other, but they remain in a relationship that isn’t exactly dating but is obviously more than simply friends.
With whom does Momiji end up?
Momiji wed a woman at some point, and they had a daughter together named Mina Sohma. His daughter reveals that Momiji is now a highly busy businessman who is constantly traveling after inheriting his father’s company. One can infer that he has also made up with his mother or at the very least tolerated her for Momo’s sake based on the fact that his sister Momo now understands that Momiji is her older brother as she is his helper.
What is the real form of Kyo?
In the Fruits Basket series, Kyo Sohma (,Sma Ky, “Kyo Soma”[2]) is one of the deuteragonists. He was raised by Kazuma Sohma as an adoptive son when his mother passed away and his biological father rejected him.
The Cat, an animal that would have been a member of the Chinese Zodiac had the Rat not duped him into missing the ceremony, is the ghost that has cursed Kyo. In addition to being treated unfairly, being insulted, and facing detention, Kyo is an irregular member of the Zodiac. When his Juzu bead bracelet is taken off, he transforms into a hideous, foul-smelling monster. He has committed his life to destroying Yuki Sohma, his biggest enemy, whom he has held responsible for all of his misfortunes.
At the start of the series, Kyo moves in with Yuki, Tohru Honda, and Shigure Sohma. Kyo is charismatic and hot-blooded, if a little socially uncomfortable. As the plot develops, Kyo develops feelings for Tohru, and gradually his broken heart is mend by discovering true love in her. In the process, he musters the courage to continue living in spite of his regret, reservations, and difficulties.
His oldest son, Hajime Sohma, serves as one of the main protagonists in Fruits Basket Another. He is married to Tohru and the father of three kids.
With whom is Yuki shipped?
Yuki and Machi are a great marriage because they constantly improve one another and push one other’s boundaries in a way that leads to happiness and change. They disagree when they first meet, unsure of how to express their emotions without creating misunderstandings, but gradually they hit a breaking point and become able to be more honest with one another.
Why did Kagura not marry Kyo?
Given that they are both Zodiac signs and that Kagura is aware of Kyo’s true appearance, Kagura has an obsessive, childlike love for him and is certain that she will marry him. She declares herself to be his fiancée and is completely open about her devotion for Kyo. She attempts to express her love as openly as she can, but Kyo rejects all of her advances, is terrified of her, and runs away whenever she is in sight because of her aggressive, possessive, and physically abusive demeanor. Kagura is extremely frustrated by this and spends much of her time pressuring Kyo to return her affection.
Later it is revealed that Kagura pitied and despised Kyo when they first met; she used the fact that he was Cat to feel better about herself. Kagura was repulsed by her own acts when she realized Kyo was in his true form and fled from him; out of shame and a desire to move on from the incident and her past self, Kagura persuaded herself that she loved him. She also believed that by accepting “Kyo the monster,” she might shed her past as a cruel, immature child and transform into a lovely person. She also understands that even though her original feelings for Kyo were motivated by pity, as she got to know him, she actually started to like him and took her desire for him seriously. She is glad to be able to admit that she does love him even though she still recognizes that her previous acts were unnecessarily selfish. Kyo thanks her for playing with him when he was small and for loving him even though he couldn’t accept it.
Following this, Kagura quits chasing Kyo and even advises Tohru to confess to Kyo directly rather than merely telling Rin. Even though she doesn’t express it, Kagura sincerely wants the two of them to be happy, despite her frustration with the new circumstances and the fact that Kyo had started dating Tohru. Kyo has also grown fond of her and no longer feels the need to avoid or flee from her. Instead, he is able to talk to her and smile at her.
Who will Kagura ultimately date?
Due to her youth and immaturity when it comes to romantic relationships, Kagura does not find love in Gintama.
Her interactions with the characters have always been humorous and occasionally emotional but never romantic.
She adopts the role of a daughter or a crime-partner with Gintoki, whereas with Shinpachi, she adopts the role of a younger sibling.
She behaves as a friendly rival when interacting with the Shinsengumi, especially Okita, and similarly has different kinds of relationships with other characters.
Despite this, she has plenty of supporters who ship her with different characters and hold out hope that they will find their one-true-pair.
Why is Kun given to Tohru?
Takaya likes to give masculine names to female characters “to balance them out,” thus she gave Tohru a name that is typically reserved for men.
[8] In addition, Takaya decided it was “a more dignified style of address” to have other characters refer to her as “Tohru-kun,” a title usually reserved for male characters. [3]
The English voice actor for Tohru, Laura Bailey, stated in an interview that she most identified with Tohru’s optimism and found her formality to be the most challenging. Although Bailey acknowledged that English does not have the same level of speech formality as Japanese, she asserted that Tohru’s “humble nature can still be communicated through inflections and tone” and that Akitaro Daichi, the director of the Japanese anime series, was particularly concerned that Tohru’s “sweetness and formal nature didn’t get lost in translation.” Bailey claimed that Tohru’s mannerisms and inflections were based on Yui Horie’s original Japanese performance. [9]
According to legend, Tohru’s father, Katsuya Honda, gave daughter the name Tohru to “bring out her latent flavor, like adding salt to delicious dishes.”
