Fruits Basket offers a wonderful happily-ever-after ending in which everyone is doing well after the curse has been lifted, the majority of the Sohmas find love, and Tohru and Kyo live happily ever after and have children together. Although the endings of the anime and manga are generally highly happy, they have one major flaw: practically everything finishes in the most heteronormative way conceivable.
