Today as I was driving, the BCI malfunction light abruptly illuminated. To get rid of it, I had to shut off and restart the engine. Has anyone experienced this? I have no idea why that appeared. Both the backup camera and sonar are working.
Just got off the sales floor. Here is what transpires. Behind the front bumper is a box housing the sonar sensor. if it is in any way blocked. Road debris, mud, and a lot of water! Another option is for a bug to splat it and block the offending sensor. Invested a lot of money to find out that.
