Where are motorcycles built by Honda CRF made?
Honda produced the CR250M Elsinore, its first “made in America product,” in Maryville, Ohio, in 1979. Since then, the factory has remained a mainstay of Honda’s American manufacturing. Motorcycles, ATVs, and dirt bikes are no longer produced there, as it is now a plant for automobiles.

While the aforementioned displacement upgrade garners most of the attention, Team Red also improved the platform’s overall final product in 2021 by completely overhauling the platform’s recipe.
Honda reduced the fat in the frame, swingarm, rear sprocket, and rear axle in addition to increasing the displacement. Honda also removed weight-saving materials from the front fender, digital meter, side covers, toolbox, and license hanger to further reduce the vehicle’s overall weight. These weight reductions total 11 pounds for the basic model and 9 pounds for the Rally model.
Despite having a slimmer frame, the CRF300L Rally has a bigger petrol tank and a wider seat for extended asphalt excursions. With the CR250M Elsinore, Honda of America Manufacturing started making motorcycles at the Marysville Motorcycle Plant in 1979. The Gold Wing and Magna motorbikes, among others, as well as all-terrain vehicles were produced there. A Gold Wing Aspencade motorbike was created at the factory for the 500,000th and one millionth vehicles, respectively, in 1991 and 1996. 174,000 automobiles were produced annually at their peak in 1997. The factory stopped making ATVs in 2005. After nearly 30 years of operation, the Marysville Motorcycle Plant halted operations in June 2009 as Honda centralized the production of a few key heavy motorcycles at a new facility in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. In order to free up space at Honda’s auto facilities, enhance flexibility, and boost production, the suspension sub-assembly for its vehicles, including the Honda Accord, Acura TL, and Acura RDX, was concentrated at the old motorcycle facility.

Are Yamaha off-road vehicles produced there?
All of Yamaha’s small ATVs and motorcycles are currently made in China. They all follow the same assembly line, with one brand receiving one color of plastic and a Yamaha sticker set while the other side receives different color plastic and JIanshe sticker sets.
