Now that the vehicle reads the tpms, would this cause the flashing slip light to come on? I recently put the spare tire on due to a puncture (BIG screw), about at the same time as the freggin light came on. I also have custom wheels on, but I’ve never put the tpms on the custom rims.
Not the TPMS, though. Every wheel has a speed sensor. The VDC and slip light will turn on if the system detects a sizable discrepancy in rotational speed between the two rear wheels.
