A 2003 Sequoia I recently bought seems to have factory fog lights. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to activate them. Since they don’t turn on, I’m not sure if they operate automatically when I turn on the ordinary lights. As stated in the handbook, there is no additional switch or wheel on the arm with the standard light switch. Although I haven’t had a chance to look or even know where that specific fuse is located, I suppose it could be a fuse. Even if it is, I still have no idea how to activate them.
For the record, when I purchased it from the dealer, they said that the previous owner had a winch on it to account for two noticeable scratches and gouges on the front bumper, but had taken it off before they brought it in. It seems a little strange considering it is a 2WD, but I believe this may be the reason why they aren’t working. I suppose I should get beneath it and take a look.
