Since 1965, Alpina has been modifying and upgrading various BMW models, and as a result, the company now creates some of the most attractive premium cars available, seamlessly fusing performance with luxury.

The modern Alpina B7 is among the first automobiles shown in the documentary. At the BMW assembly line, where the majority of the Alpina components are installed, it assumes its final shape as a particularly distinctive variant of the 7-Series. The original VIN is crossed out and a VIN from Alpina is added after it is delivered to their facility. Why did BMW purchase Alpina?
After more than 50 years of cooperative separation, BMW Group has acquired the Alpina name in an effort to bring the venerable tuning company and its well-established branding within its umbrella. We already know this because it was revealed in mid-March 2022.
