If you’re using sample size as evidence, you must be in dire need of facts. It is the most popular color, as is clear from the poll. Period.
I’m a little surprised you stop there and don’t continue to make the conclusion that blue is the most popular/common color on the road from this poll of 56 voters so far, all from the same thread.
Why not poll Lux/Sport Line consumers separately from M Pack buyers about their preferred color?
The majority of G20 devices that will be sold lack an MPack. Because there are less MPack drivers on the road, Portimao Blue is still more RARE.
In 2016, I purchased my F20 in Mediterranean Blue. No one owned it. Now that it’s available, some people find it to be a hazardous option, and some people don’t want to spend $550 on it.
For models in the 18/19 model years, blue is a color that is predicted to gain in popularity. I’ve always been a lover of BMW Blue.
The most popular colors are still white and black, but all automakers are fortunately seeing a significant fall in silver sales.
In a world full with cars that are drab and silver, blue will always stand out. I seldom ever see a blue automobile in my 20+ thousand highway miles each year. An Estoril Blue 3 really looks amazing in my opinion. I adore Portimao blue, so it’s no surprise that it’s at the top of this pole.
I’m also not shocked Portimao Blue is in the lead. It’s one of the brightest hues, almost on par with San Marino Blue.
On an M850, I saw Dravit Grey, and it was stunning. For my M340i, I’ve decided for Dravit Gray. I need to select a leather interior color: Cognac or Black.
Estoril Blue has been on my 435i for well over three years, and I no longer desire this quite loud and appealing hue on a daily driver. I don’t like it. Far too much focus Mineral Gray will do for me! Shame that the M Sport Package doesn’t come in silver.

I’m having trouble deciding what color I want. I so decided to poll the community and simply purchase the item that received the most votes. LOL I suppose I’m a strange person.
I have to choose between these two options:
- Metallic White
- Metallic White (with luxury package aka chrome)
- Diamond Black
- Diamond Black (with luxury package aka chrome)
Please keep in mind that I have choose the interior: Black Dakota Leather with Dark Oyster.
For those who are unaware, the Luxury Package includes the following:
Chrome design elements on the outside (bumper x accents, air intakes with specific design, kidney bars, window surround, exhaust pipe finishers), deletion of the Sport Instrument Cluster and the signature key.
For those of you without photographic memory or creative imagination, here are the images:
I must admit that for a time, I wasn’t a fan of mineral white, but I recently purchased a mineral white 4GC and I constantly receive praises on it. especially with the sport line’s contrasting mirror caps and bimmerangs. I can’t think of any other color I would have selected over mineral white, but if I could have obtained estoril blue, I would have done so.
As your interior is Dark Oyster with Black Dakota, I’d say Sapphire Black. Unless the interior was black or red, it was mineral white. The interior has a nice contrast thanks to the Sapphire Black.
MW appears unclean in my perspective. One was rolling down the road when I saw it, and from some angles, it almost looked tan. However, no matter how capricious you are, black will become dirty right away after being cleaned.
If you live in California, choose white, just like every other 3 series driver there. However, if you want to stand out a little, choose something different like frozen gray (which is more expensive) or even brown.
If you don’t have a habit of washing your car every other day, I wouldn’t recommend either black or white.
In actuality, I will state that white is far better at concealing dirt than black because I have owned several black cars. Despite what you would assume, it does.
Silver or gold appear to be the ideal colors if you’re concerned about dirt showing, but those hues look awful on practically every car, and aside from a very small number of circumstances, I would never drive one.
As many people have said, blue, red, or grey would be nice and unique, but in your poll, I selected white. I understand the irony coming from someone who owns a black car, but I didn’t get to choose the color, and since I now own black, it will probably be my first and last black car because they never stay clean.
What Are The Best Colors Produced By BMW?
For their most coveted halo cars, BMW has been incredibly picky about the launch colors over the years (think: M5 and M4 CS). But more often than you may imagine, especially recently, that sense of exclusivity seeps down to us common mortals. Custom orders are now easier to submit and complete than ever thanks to the revelation that the Spartanburg factory is now accepting individual paint requests. We’ll look at some instances of the most recognizable hues to have ever worn the BMW insignia today.

Which car color will sell the fastest?
At the end of this essay, we present the list of 17 above- and below-average paint treatments for maintained value.
Yellow is the most valuable color for convertibles and SUVs, orange is best for coupes, beige is best for pickup trucks, and purple, which is one of the rarest colors in any class, increases the value of sedans the most, according to the iSeeCars survey.
Interestingly, among three-year-old minivans, green and brown, two of the least flashy (and, some could argue, among the most unpleasant) hues, register the lowest depreciation rates, while equivalent red vans lose significantly more of their initial value after three years. Evidently, everything is a matter of taste (or some might argue a lack thereof). Minivans are a practical choice for a car, so buying one in an uncommon color might make it more interesting.

There is no scientific proof to support the notion that any particular color will fade more quickly than others, despite the perception that some car paint colors, most notably red or black, fade more quickly than others. The only thing that truly matters is how long the paint on a car will last before it starts to fade.

When it comes to luxury car hues, silver is unmatched by gold, despite the fact that gold commands a much higher price per troy ounce on the precious metals market.
