What Is Included In BMW Lighting Package?

I apologize if this question has already been asked, but what precisely does the Lighting Package include? Exists a clear aesthetic difference?

Older postings said that you needed the package in order to obtain the traditional angel eyes, however others claim that the 435i already has them?

In a way, I’m in the same situation as you. I would only get the lighting bundle for aesthetic reasons. Do you know of any photos that compare a f32 with and without the lighting kit side by side?

Since it already has angel eyes, I couldn’t justify paying so much for the LED main lights.

The F30 335i has good HIDs and lovely, brilliant Angel Eyes. Although it is a very pricey choice, it might be if the cost were only a few hundred. In contrast to the image above, it is difficult to tell which automobiles have LEDs and which have regular HIDs.

Consequently, they essentially have the same shape and design, with the exception that the HIDs use projectors that are still in use today, while the LEDs use small rectangular led bulbs for the headlights and side markers.

I own an F32 that is equipped with the adaptive LED lighting package. Driving at night in a HID vs. LED vehicle will provide you noticeably better lighting.

The LED package from BMW comprises of a number of LED lights that cooperate to ensure that the road is adequately illuminated. While there is only one light source on each side of the automobile with HIDs, there are several sources with LEDs, and they all move independently in response to steering input.

Although most people won’t find this sufficient to justify the price, I truly like the LEDs. Not to mention, they have a lovely appearance at night.

The brighter lights on my F32 are good, but what I appreciate best is that at night you can tell it has the package because all four pods light up, not just the outside ones. Additionally, the halogen lamps in the xenon lights turn on while cornering or reversing, which makes them look odd.

I’m trying to decide whether the adaptive LED headlights are worth the extra $1000 because we’re acquiring a new BMW 4 Gran Coupe. This is because our ability to obtain leather chairs would be limited. LED headlights and LED fog lights are already listed when I examine the basic included choices. Not at all the adaptive ofc. Are the aesthetics different? Considering how much I adore the BMW 4 with its gorgeous blue (particularly at night) LED angel lights.

If I didn’t choose that pricey option, which turns out to have headlights that look like those unsightly, subpar bmw 3 headlights (when they don’t have the improved lights), I’d be kicked out.

This is a lease vehicle, and as I previously mentioned, it already has LED headlights and LED fog lights listed under the basic standard options.

I’m new to this platform, so I apologize if I put anything incorrectly or inappropriately.

I’m wondering if it alters the appearance of the lights overall or just the adaptable component.

Okay, I feel the need to submit this because I have seen enough threads debating the lighting package and the misunderstanding of what the differences between the 3 and the 4 series represent. Particularly, I’m sick of folks chiming in on 4 series discussions to complain about how awful the car would look without the “lighting package.”

So let’s begin:

The lighting package for the 3 series and the 4 series differs despite having the same name.

The lighting package now refers to the switch from Halogen to Xenon headlights for the 3 series model of vehicles. Many members of this forum view this as a necessary upgrade. This has led to misunderstanding in 4 series posts, particularly in threads that ask for “help with build before I order.”

The lighting package for the 4 series line of vehicles also includes LED headlights, which are not yet available for the 3 series. Xenon lights are standard equipment on all 4 series vehicles. This package is often seen as being a waste of money and is significantly more expensive than the 3 series lighting kit.

Vehicle information

The 320, 328, 328d, and 328 wagon all come with the 3 series lighting kit as an option. The 335i and Active Hybrid both come standard with it.

On all 4 series vehicles, the lighting package is an option. Again, Xenons are included in all versions.

a few images

On a 6 series, Xenon against LED. On a 4 series, I can’t seem to locate a decent photo comparison.

New BMW X5 lighting package

BMW revealed the third-generation of the X5, their best-selling SUV, earlier this week.

Production of the F15 X5 began in August 2013 at the Spartanburg factory in South Carolina. Production of the xDrive35d model begins in December 2013, and deliveries are anticipated to begin in 2014. In September, dealerships will start to receive the other two U.S. versions, the xDrive28i and xDrive35i (or sDrive35i).

Pre-configured packages and lines, which were first provided with the new 1 and 3 Series models, will now be available for the X5, starting with the Luxury Line (ZLL), xLine (ZXD), and concluding with the M Sport Package. A special car key and exclusive Line-specific 19″ wheels (with an option to upgrade to 20″ wheels) are also included with the Luxury Line and xLine models. Additionally, the M Sport Package model receives a unique key fob.

The new X5 absolutely shines inside, in my opinion. BMW has modernized the interior to new levels of luxury and gadgetry while keeping the driving-focused cockpit and sportiness.

The Lighting Package is one of the innovative and exciting new technologies offered for the BMW X5. With nine pre-defined lighting designs, this new bundle delivers ambient light designs in three different colors. The dashboard, doors, and footwells all have a distinctive glow thanks to these interior ambient lights.

Orange, white, and blue serve as the foundational colors, which are then followed by a blend of these three serene hues.

The BMW lite package is what?

Is the 2014 x3’s ambient lighting functionality constrained? I’ve seen videos and postings where individuals demonstrate how to change the hues and brightness of the colors in their homes. What exactly is included in the bundle for this specific model and year?

The options for my 2015 LCI X3 are either Classic (Amber) or Modern (White). The brightness can be changed. It regulates the interior lighting for the footwells, storage compartment in the center console (under the radio/AC), and door handles. When doors are opened, foot wells are White; once the car is moving, they change to the predetermined color.

Is that a 2015-specific feature? None of the lighting parameters for mine are controllable by me.

I installed it on my 2017 X3, and from what I can see, it is a standard feature, not an option. I recall reading in one of the brochures that the LC1 X3 had two-color ambient lighting.

What additional interior illumination does BMW offer?

You’ve probably already seen this, but here is what they have to say about the Extended Interior Light option: “The ambient Ambient lighting contains numerous LED lights and produces an ambience of absolute quality. Are there ambient lights on every BMW x2?

The Sport serves as the range’s entry point, but it doesn’t seem like it because of the enormous amount of features it comes with. A standard feature of the 8.8-inch “touch control” display, which mimics the functionality of a smartphone by offering selectable “tiles” for frequently used capabilities, is sat-nav.

On the Sport, 18-inch alloy wheels and dual-zone climate control are both standard features, as are DAB radio, cruise control, and rear parking sensors. Sports front seats, LED headlights and foglamps, ambient interior lighting, gloss-black exterior trim, and other equipment are all included.

With an aerodynamic body-colored style kit inspired by BMW’s high-performance M division, the M Sport has a much more aggressive appearance. It rides on large 19-inch alloy wheels and a slightly lowered sports suspension. M logos add color to the door sill finishers and remote key, while customized upholstery features Dakota leather with yellow or blue highlights and a black headlining for contrast. Buyers of M Sport receive a redesigned multifunction steering wheel and heated front seats.

BMW also marketed the X2 in M Sport X and M Mesh Edition forms until the beginning of 2022, which gave the M Sport additional rugged aesthetic changes. Both seemed a little disjointed and lackluster; most purchasers would be better served by the standard M Sport or a BMW X1 in xLine trim. Given its price, the M35i also seems to provide very little upgrades above the M Sport level.

The BMW Connected app is accessible to all BMW motorists. You can use it to communicate with your car and remotely activate functions like central locking and the ability to monitor the fuel level. Additionally, it offers directions for walking from your parking lot to your destination as well as location services. Apple CarPlay is supported, however Android users must use the BMW system in its place.

Which automobiles have ambient lighting?

The Soul is no different from other Kia vehicles in that it has a ton of amenities. Even while ambient lighting is only offered on the GT and Turbo variants of the Soul, it doesn’t make it any less desirable.

Although the brighter lights at the driver and passenger’s feet are helpful for visibility if you ever drop something in your car, the Soul is one of the cars with ambient lighting that uses it more as an accent than a visibility assistance.

However, the accent does a wonderful job of emphasizing key interior features, so even while this lighting is primarily aesthetic, it is also really helpful. A few modification options are also available.
