A complete nightmare.
I’m here to share my frank opinion about this car. I own a 2012 Hyundai Tucson with a manual transmission. The extremely short gears are my first point of criticism; to reach motorway speeds (80 MPH), 5th gear must turn at 4000 RPMs. It’s pretty disappointing, and the MPG only makes it worse. Expect 20–21 MPG, and yes, this is an inline 4 manual. In addition to being quite unattractive, the interior is also extremely basic with no fancy amenities or power seats. It actually makes me think of a 2005 or 2006 model of car. Another crucial aspect is how difficult it is to drive this car. First gear is so short and the clutch is so difficult to release that the car would jolt violently and swing like a boat at sea if you don’t do it perfectly. Additionally, its center of gravity is low. To be completely honest, I’d be terrified to drive this vehicle at speeds higher than 80 mph. Even though it has short gears and poor MPG, it lacks power as well. What’s worse, with only 84,500 miles on it, it has been giving me problems left and right. Luxury/foreign car dependability was neither requested nor paid for. So, to sum it all up. It has poor reliability, a rough ride, unsightly exterior and interior, and poor MPG.

Great SUV, excellent gas mileage, and strong overall performance. The Tucson’s catalytic converter was stolen, which was the only drawback I encountered with it. Rogers took care of ordering a replacement and replacing it for me.

The Hyundai Tucson
The Tucson combines the tough usefulness of an SUV with the mobility and smoothness of a car to provide the best of both worlds. The Tucson’s frugal 2.4L 4 cylinder engine, which is strong but still economical, goes above and beyond for you. Tucson offers a six-speed automatic transmission that is optional and comes with On Demand All Wheel Drive and SHIFTRONIC, two features that the majority of the competition lacks. Because it’s hard to be comfortable in a car if you can’t quickly access all the controls, the Tucson’s driver seat can be adjusted in eight different ways as standard. Additionally changeable is the steering wheel, enhancing comfort and driving ergonomics. There is 55.8 cubic feet of cargo space when the 60/40 split rear seats are folded down. Six standard airbags in the Tucson assist shield front-seat occupants from frontal and side accidents. Roll-over sensors are included in the side-curtain airbags that extend to the back seats to protect those passengers as well.
