After doing some research, I made the decision to repair the actuator gear in the transfer case, which, to my surprise, was nearly brand new. I also purchased new fluids for the differentials and transfer case.
Well, yesterday, while I was parking, several lights briefly turned on, followed by the 4×4 light. I turned off the car, parked it, and took the key out. There were no automatic interior lights, a broken radio, and nothing was powered by electricity. I used the remote control to lock the car while I was inside, then I used the key to release it and the car started without any lights at all, and the computer was reset.
The battery, perhaps? The age of it is barely 15 months. On weekdays, I often travel just 5 miles, and on weekends, maybe 20 to 50.

A 40% charge was found on the battery during testing at Autozone. I was told to leave it charging for an hour in the store, after which it will be OK. 70% charged after one hour. They advised me to let it 20 more minutes to charge inside the shop. Not much of an advancement. A brand-new battery is used in place of the old one. I’m hoping it will solve the issue.

The second version of the BMW X3 is the F25. At the Paris Motor Show in 2010, the car was unveiled. Production for this generation was transferred from the Austrian Magna Steyr plant to BMW’s American manufacturing facility in Greer, South Carolina. Beginning on September 1, 2010, and ending in August 2017.
The F25-based X3 is almost as big as the original X5 from the E53 series in terms of size. All versions have all-wheel drive, known as xDrive, at launch. There are two different gearbox options: a six-speed manual and an eight-speed ZF 8HP automatic. For all engines, the emission standard was Euro 5. In some areas, sDrive, a rear-wheel-drive-only vehicle, was added to the lineup in 2012.
M Performance Parts, which can be added on all models, were introduced with the facelift.
