With a refined powertrain, fast handling, and a hard, yet supple and controlled ride, the quick and smooth 328i is a pleasure to drive.
Although a more powerful engine still manages to achieve good fuel economy, the comfort of the seats was decreased.
BMW 328
The BMW 328i offers a unique blend of practicality, European luxury, and sports performance in a small vehicle. Every luxury car manufacturer, from Acura to Volvo, sets its entry-level luxury sport sedans against this vehicle as the definition of the term “sport sedan.” While the 328i with rear-wheel drive is offered in coupe, sedan, wagon, and convertible body types, the 328i with all-wheel drive is only offered in coupe, sedan, and wagon body types. A 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque powers the vehicle. All versions come standard with a six-speed manual transmission; an automatic six-speed transmission is an option. Six airbags, four-wheel ABS disc brakes with adaptive brakelights, traction and stability control, as well as pop-up roll-over protection on the convertible, are all included as standard safety features. All 328 variants now come with HD Radio as standard equipment for 2010. Entire Review

Positivity from owners
This 2010 vehicle still had a full year of warranty when I purchased it secondhand in 2013. The 2010 BMW 328i car is quite roomy and comfy. Amazing maneuverability and excellent acceleration power! The price of maintenance in later years is the only drawback. If I could do it over again, I would buy anything to maximize the warranty period. Thank goodness, sulev has provided coverage for a number of recalls. Great car all around!
If you follow up with the oil changes, it’s enjoyable and easy maintenance. Although it is little, a lot may fit within. The nicest feature is how the cupholders blend into the dash.
Everything about my car is wonderful. Reliability, fun, gorgeous appearance, interior with wood accents, and ease of cleaning and maintenance. It has nice suspension and is speedy, however I wish I didn’t have to use run flat tires for it. The amazing thing about all wheel drive! After two years of ownership, there aren’t many serious issues.
hybrid vehicle The BMW 330 e is one of the most exciting models in the lineup, with a potent electric motor in addition to a 2.0-liter gasoline engine. The BMW 3 series is still a favorite because it is enjoyable to drive and has a highly upscale appearance.
I absolutely enjoy the performance, the speed, the appearance, and the design of it. I adore how comfortable the car is and how smooth and quiet it is inside. If you want a sports car, you’ll love it because it has so many wonderful features.
Best vehicle I’ve ever owned. The nicest part of my car is the high-quality gas cylinder.
My car’s issue is that it has flat tires. My car’s dependability is superb. This car has good performance and it has nice comfort. Last but not least, it includes certain high-quality characteristics like no added sound. Another crucial element is the high quality of my car’s gas cylinder.
Maintaining it is expensive, but there haven’t been many problems. Very trustworthy and worth the money spent on it.
The majority of automobiles on the roads today still have manual transmissions because automatic autos are still a relatively recent invention. But it is clear from looking at the current trends in new car purchases that more and more customers are choosing the automatic transmission option.
simple to drive. easy to maintain. good fuel efficiency. I enjoy driving. Sporty. No issues, other the difficulty of cleaning tires.
2010 BMW 328i test notes from 10Best
This week, we are doing our yearly 10Best test, which involves analyzing 58 vehicles and selecting the top ten. We’ll be sharing ideas from our notepads with you all week. I’ll start with today’s:
Funny how every year when we test the 10Best products, the same thing happens to me. I get behind the wheel of each of the new competitors and discover that there aren’t many subpar vehicles in the group. Some of the new models are so impressive that I begin to wonder if a new benchmark has been established. I understand how far the competition still has to go once I get into the Porsche sports vehicles (see yesterday’s blog article) and the BMW 3-series. These enduring standards continue to stand head and shoulders above the competition.
At 10Best, we have a 328i with the sport package and almost no additional possibilities. It appears to be a $37,000 compact automobile with vinyl seats that can be manually adjusted. What makes it so fantastic then? It cannot falter. When thrown into a swift sweeper with numerous potholes, it passes through without incident. The vibrations from the bumps are audible and feel like pulses through the steering wheel, yet your course remains the same. If you try that at the same pace in almost any other situation, it will bounce and sidestep its way into the next lane. I consider the BMW 328i to be one of the most gratifying driver’s cars on the globe because there is still no other sedan under $40,000 that can match the 328i’s steering feel and handling poise.
The results of our 10Best contest will be revealed in our January 2010 edition. On December 5, please look for it on newsstands.

Older BMWs are they worth it?
BMW is renowned for producing some of the best driving machines the world has ever seen, yet the majority of mechanics will advise you to steer clear of pre-owned models.
Once upon a time, BMW was a renowned automaker, a premium German brand with a lengthy history and an amazing collection of vehicles crisscrossing the globe. Sadly, though, circumstances are now different for the employees at the Bavarian Motor Works. The brand has been permanently damaged with prior owners and do-it-yourselfers due to an emphasis on producing mass-market automobiles that don’t age well.
August 2021 revision: You’ll be delighted to know that we’ve updated this post and go into more detail about the many issues a Bavarian automobile owner may run into if they decide to purchase a used BMW. This should assist you in making the greatest choice for your upcoming automobile purchase.
The majority of knowledgeable owners and mechanics will advise you to avoid used BMWs, especially those manufactured within the previous 20 years or so. Simply put, they are not worth the money you will undoubtedly have to invest in them. They are expensive to repair, have expensive replacement parts, and require a lot of labor.
They certainly have a cool appearance and a certain charm. But when you force personal checks to pour in at the neighborhood Euro repair shop, that beautiful siren tune will finally hit a string of unfavorable notes. Here are 15 compelling arguments against buying a used BMW.
Which 328i model year is the most dependable?
Your budget will be the most important consideration when deciding which of the top 3 series to purchase. Models of the current 3 series have been arriving at dealerships from 2019, following the announcement of the generation in 2018. An M340i will be your finest option if you want to get a new 3 series. This offers you a lot of the performance you demand from BMW and is just one step below the M3.
The 2006–2011 generation of the BMW 3 series gets the highest overall reliability rating if you’re looking at a used model. You’ll have a durable vehicle if you buy one of the 328i sedans or coupes from this era. From 2006 to 2010, the N54 motor, which was a powerful but fragile powertrain, was installed in the 335i of this generation. BMW upgraded it to the N55 motor in 2011 and addressed many of the issues.
