A Nissan Altima radiator replacement typically costs between $887 and $1,162. While parts are priced between $663 and $879, labor costs are predicted to be between $224 and $283.

What number of speakers are there in a 2007 Nissan Altima?
The 6-speaker AM/FM/CD radio system that comes standard in the Altima sedan has an AUX input on the receiver. The optional 9-speaker Bose system has a built-in XM satellite radio and an AM/FM/6-CD receiver with an AUX connection. The Bose system’s touchscreen navigation is included in the top-tier model.
Radio-delete Altimas, which are primarily sold to fleets, are also available. If you have one, you can use it in place of the storage cubby. It will be much simpler to install new speakers because the door and dash speaker locations are pre-wired.
For instance, you will need to connect the new car radio to a grounding point in your Altima when replacing the factory navigation receiver because the wire harness (provided at a significant discount with your receiver purchase) lacks a ground connection. There is no issue there because non-nav receivers do have a ground connection.
The receiver of the non-nav Bose system also presents some intriguing perspectives. The wire harness included in this package must be linked to the front and rear preamp outputs of the new receiver in order to keep the factory Bose amp (which is situated underneath the liner on the right rear corner of the trunk). Our installation package will come with the line converter you’ll need to keep using the amp if you choose a receiver lacking those outputs. You’re fine any way, but I just wanted to warn you.
The factory AUX input and (if present) XM satellite radio are lost when the receiver is replaced, which is the last but not least drawback. Given the abundance of receivers that provide you with each of those features and much more, this is not a major concern.
Of course, we’ll keep those (and a few other things) in mind while you buy, but you already knew that. Make sure you get the appropriate equipment for your automobile by using our Outfit My Car feature.
Hybrid note
The gas-electric hybrid powertrain of a hybrid makes changing the stereo a little trickier. Here are a few things to bear in mind because these hybrid autos feature some extremely sensitive electronics:
- If you want to create a car with an incredibly potent audio system, a hybrid is not the right option. Don’t go over a 30-amp current draw or 350-watt RMS power rating because a high-powered stereo’s voracious current demand is bad for the hybrid system.
- Never test wiring in this car with a test light; only a multimeter should be used instead. This could result in substantial (that is, costly and dangerous) damage.
How many speakers are there in a Nissan Altima from 2008?
The standard stereo system for the Altima coupe is a 6-speaker AM/FM/CD setup with an AUX connection on the receiver. The optional 9-speaker Bose system has a built-in XM satellite radio and an AM/FM/6-CD receiver with an AUX connection. The Bose system combined with a touchscreen navigation receiver is the best solution available.
The procedure for replacing the radios is described in your MasterSheet and is essentially the same for all of them. But there are some distinctions, which we’ll discuss in more detail below.
For instance, there isn’t now a wire harness available to assist you in installing a new stereo if your vehicle has the factory navigation system. Therefore, all of the connections for the new stereo will need to be hardwired. Alternately, you might keep the navigation and stereo while concentrating on improving the audio components (speakers and an amplifier).
The non-nav Bose system’s stereo offers a few intriguing perspectives as well. First off, there is no ground connection on the new wiring harness, which is discounted significantly when you buy a receiver. The ground wire from the new car audio must be attached to a grounding point under the Altima’s dash (usually any bolt that screws into the metal subdash). It’s actually not a big deal, but we just wanted to bring it up.
There is no issue there because the adapter harnesses for non-Bose receivers do feature a ground connection.
Second, the wire harness in this package links to the front and rear preamp outputs of the new receiver, allowing you to keep the factory Bose amp (which is hidden beneath the liner on the right rear corner of the trunk). Our installation package will come with the line output converter you’ll need to keep using the amp even if you choose a receiver lacking those outputs. You’re fine any way, but I just wanted to warn you.
The factory AUX input and (if present) XM satellite radio are lost when the receiver is replaced, which is the last but not least drawback. Since there are several single-DIN (2″ tall) and double-DIN (4″ tall) receivers that provide you both of those things and much more, this is not a major concern.
However, if your Altima came equipped with a USB input, we offer an adaptor that will enable it to continue functioning with your new stereo.
How can I figure out which Altima model I have?
Your car or truck’s “Vehicle Identification Number” is called a VIN. This number reflects your vehicle’s engine size, body type, model year, and other details.
color, transmission type, etc. This is a 17 digit alphanumeric number for vehicles manufactured after 1980.

the windscreen to facilitate access. There must be one of these in every automobile, and they are all gathered here. It is prohibited to alter or delete this license plate. When the tag is absent,
The following locations may also contain your vehicle’s VIN number:
- On a sticker on the door pillar of the driver’s side
- on the frame underneath the front hood, stamped
- On the ownership title for the car
- Your owner’s manual contains the vehicle identification label.
- A sign in the luggage and spare tire section
- The VIN is printed on the price tag for new autos.
- on a state-issued automobile registration document
The VIN provides a thorough breakdown of your car, eliminating any need for guesswork when it comes to using it and locating the right parts, information for repairs, service methods, etc.
Yes, it’s important to accurately insert each number and letter as well as the VIN sequence. Please take your time as each alphanumeric entry denotes a specific aspect of your vehicle.
When did Altima acquire all-wheel drive?
The 2018 models were the first ones that Nissan made with all-wheel drive, according to Motor1. By 2022, all-wheel drive will only be offered on the Platinum trim level of the Altima.
The front-wheel-drive system is standard on the remaining five trim levels (S, SV, SR, SR-VC Turbo, and SL). Nissan has not yet made any announcements on its intentions to soon add all-wheel drive to any of these trim levels.
With all of its trim levels, the Altima has never offered a four-wheel-drive variant, and it hasn’t made any intentions to do so either. But some Nissan pickups do come with four-wheel drives.
The complete specifications for each trim level are listed on Nissan’s corporate website.
Has the Nissan Altima Bose audio?
The optional Bose Premium Audio system in the Nissan Altima includes a 9 speaker system with a Bose amplifier positioned in the middle. The Altima’s acoustical qualities are maximized and the 9 speaker system carefully positions sound in the cabin to give you a rich and satisfying audio profile.
