Hello! I recently discovered this and thought I’d let you know so you don’t have to try to figure it out yourself (maybe again).
Simply park, set your parking break, and switch off your headlamps if you want to operate your engine while turning off your daytime running lights while you are parked. Viola! DRLs will stop functioning.

So it’s not like you can turn it off by using the toggle switches or a button. because I have a different vehicle with DRL that I can switch on or off whenever I want. I don’t have to turn off a fuse. I maneuver behind the steering wheel.
