How can pressing the “fob” against the start button be helpful if it isn’t functioning? How and why should it realize that my finger is not simply pressing it as usual?
If you look at my photo, there is a plastic button in the square hole in the cover. You only need to press that button to raise the cover off; you don’t need a screwdriver.
Yes, pressing the start button while using the fob does work; I tested it while the fob’s battery was out and I think it functions similarly to contactless credit and debit cards.
