You can program the nfc key card without an Android phone. Since I have an iPhone, I was planned to use my daughter’s Android this weekend when I picked up the key card that my salesman had ordered, but when I glanced at the handbook for my hybrid, I noticed that it could be programmed using both smart key fobs at the bottom of page 5-19. I followed these procedures.
Put both keys in the vehicle.
2. Start the vehicle, then choose Setup.

5. Choose Card Key if Enable Digital Keys is not ticked before.
6. Check to see if the Save option is active; if so, insert the key card into the wire charging slot and select the Save option.
I was anticipating an on-screen response but did not receive one, so after waiting for a few minutes, I selected the Digital Key Information option and noticed an Authentication serial number, which led me to believe that the card may have already been programmed (I didn’t look at that screen before beginning so I am unsure if it was blank prior to clicking Save).
I then switched off the vehicle, removed both key fobs, and walked inside. After returning outside, I inserted the key card into the wireless charging slot of the vehicle before starting it and driving around the block.
