How do I disable the lane maintain assist that constantly tries to keep the car off the traffic lines? I’m not sure what BMW names it. I’m not referring to when the cruise control is engaged. It continuously tries to correct me while I’m driving normally. On the 2019 X3 I had before, I could turn it off. On iDrive 7, I must be overlooking that setting. Thanks
Thanks. So the circle encircling the active features button changes from green to red when the lane keep assist is disabled? My 2019 G01 appears to have the same setup, as the button was remained green.
I advise against turning it off. However, you may keep the lane departure warning on with the Early setting and only disable the steering intervention feature if you don’t like it.
I’m grateful. On the X3, I had it configured in that manner. Simply trying to set up the new X5 and not being able to figure out how to exactly preserve the X3’s setup.

Instead, use a single cluster that includes all available options; however, if the control modules, buttons, and switches are missing (because you didn’t order the option), they won’t light up.
