On automatic, you can essentially only adjust the temperatures on the driver and passenger sides using the corresponding temperature dials, the fan’s speed, and the central vent’s relative temperature. By pressing the Auto button, the vent diagram appears, allowing you to adjust the central vent’s fan speed and relative temperature. You can see the total fan intensity on the left, and a box is on the right. To activate the center vent box, push the controller to the right. Next, turn the dial to check for intensity bars and red (hot) or blue (cool) divergence from the other vents.
No matter how many blue bars you place up there, the AC won’t turn on if it’s very cold, and you won’t get cooling in the vents.
When using settings particular to the driver or passenger, push the middle of the driver’s temperature button to bring up the diagram.
Here, you can control the amount of airflow to the floor, drivers vents, and windshield on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Dial after moving the controller to each bar. The ventilation in parked cars is great! I make use of mine all summer. My black automobile spends the working day in a sunny lot. I turn it on with the Remote app around 10-15 minutes before I leave, which makes my car [a little] cozier when I get in.
Additionally fantastic if you have to leave passengers (or animals) in the car for a while. It’s best for pets to park in a shaded area with the windows and roof cracked and the ventilation in the parked car set on timed. [CAUTION: parked automobile ventilation alone is insufficient to prevent dogs or passengers from suffering heat exhaustion, so use caution!]
When I have errands to run or go to the grocery store, I’ll turn on the ventilation. Bottom line: a fantastic feature, especially when used in conjunction with the BMW Remote App.

The identical warning appeared for me. I initially thought, “You’re wrong, BMW, it’s not snowing!” I finally faced defeat and acknowledged the truth that my automobile lacked a snow sensor.

The first time I saw this triangle was on Sunday night in Connecticut. It initially frightened me, but I reasoned that it must be similar to the snowflake that used to show in my Audi when the temperature was about +/5 degrees from 32. It’s funny how, when the temperature drops below a certain level, it ceases to appear as though it’s so cold outside that you must be aware that there can be ice!

While the central inserts are made of genuine leather, other parts are made of synthetic vinyl. Because it appears to be a manufactured problem, your dealership should be able to take care of it for you, but don’t take my word for it. All of these issues are handled on a case-by-case basis.
